Multi-channel discrete quadratic solitons in periodically poled lithium niobate waveguide arrays

Abstract

We report the first observation of quadratic discrete solitons localized in multiple neighboring channels of one-dimensional PPLN waveguide arrays. Measured field profiles for discrete diffraction and solitons versus wave-vector mismatch agree with theory.
