Laser Ascent to Sub Atomic Physics and Applications

Abstract

Since its inception the laser has mainly focused on eV, atomic, molecular physics and quantum optics. The possibility to produce extremely high field opens the laser to subatomic physics dominated by NLQED, relativistic, critical acceleration effects and applications.
