Thermal-waveguide Optical Parametric Oscillator

Abstract

We report a mid-infrared, CW singly resonant OPO with a thermal-induced waveguide in its gain crystal. The waveguide, with a NA of 0.0062, doubles the parametric efficiency and makes the OPO insensitive to alignment.
