Pyroelectric surface-wave soliton

Abstract

Pyroelectric surface-wave solitons are formed at the interface between a nonlinear photorefractive medium and a low index medium. Surface-wave soliton arises from light attraction to the surface and trapping by an asymmetric self-focusing index change.
