CdSiP2 optical parametric oscillator tunable across 6-8 μm synchronously pumped by a Ti:sapphire laser

Abstract

We report the first ultrafast OPO based on CdSiP2 synchronously-pumped by a KLM Ti:sapphire laser, continuously tunable across ~6-8 μm in deep-IR under rapid static cavity length tuning, with high output stability, at room temperature.
