Abstract

The output mode, polarization, and the corresponding spatial and spectral distribution of a flip-chip bonded CMOS-driven 8×8 VCSEL array were studied using imaging spectroscopy. Red- shifted spectral redistribution was found for VCSELs operated under the collective condition.
