Abstract

The Optical disc with the large capacity and higher speed data recording rate is required in the digital network society. We have developed an inorganic write-once disc with quadruple recording layers for the Blu-ray disc system. We have achieved the reflectivity of more than 5 % and the jitter value of less than 10 % for each recording layer.
