Recent status of perfluorinated graded index plastic optical fiber and its novel termination method

Abstract

We report recent progress in perfluorinated graded index plastic optical fiber and its operability with gigabit Ethernet transceiver designed for silica glass fiber. Easy termination method and connector are also mentioned.
