Switchable Infrared Reflectors Fabricated in Polymer-Dispersed Liquid Crystals

Abstract

Switchable infrared reflection gratings are fabricated in polymer-dispersed liquid crystals by holographic technique. The electro-optical performance of these reflectors is investigated and 5 dB reflectors are achievable.
