Optical Fiber Bragg Grating Accelerometer with Temperature Insensitivity

Abstract

A cantilever beam and fiber Bragg grating are used to measure acceleration. The output signal is insensitive to temperature variations from −20ºC to 40ºC, and fluctuated less than 5% without any temperature compensation schemes.
