OSNR and jitter tolerant all-optical clock recovery at 40 Gbit/s using a quantum-dots based self-pulsating laser

Abstract

We experimentally analyze the jitter suppression effect of an all-optical clock recovery based on quantum-dots self-pulsating laser in the presence of optical noise and show a full operation down to an input OSNR of 22dB/0.1 mn.
