Pump to Signal RIN Transfer in Silicon Raman Amplifiers

Abstract

The pump to signal RIN transfer in chip-scale silicon Raman amplifiers is investigated in the presence of nonlinear losses. Pump RIN frequency components as high as 1.5 GHz will be transferred to the signal.
