Abstract

Under the Composite Hull Embedded Sensor System (CHESS) program, which is a cooperative program run by the US and Royal Norwegian Navies, a preliminary test at sea has been performed with a four channel fiber Bragg grating strain sensor system on a Mine Counter Measure Vessel (MCMV) which is a composite material air cushion catamaran [1].
