Abstract

The present fatigue data obtained for high strength epoxyacrylate without coupling agents coated(l) fused silica fibers, show the gross effect of water on fiber strength and compare quantitatively the dynamic vs. static fatigue dependencies. The results demonstrate that the model of Charles(2) can be used to generate static fatigue predictions based on short-term dynamic fatigue data.
