Optical Switching Processes in Gold-Vanadium Dioxide Nanostructures

Abstract

A comparison will be presented of the characteristics of optical switching devices incorporating the phase change material vanadium dioxide. Data will be discussed for both single contiguous films and devices exploiting nanostructured concepts.
