Femtosecond laser damage resistance of optical coating materials

Abstract

On the basis of recent experiments and published results we investigate the Laser Induced Damage Threshold of optical coatings materials (oxides, fluorides, mixture materials) with irradiation conditions (wavelength, pulse duration) in the sub-ps regime.
