A High-Magnification Light-Field Telescope for Extended Depth-of-Field Biometric Imaging

Abstract

We demonstrate a light-field telescope capable of simultaneously increasing magnification and depth-of-field for biometric applications at large (>20 m) standoff distances. We analyzed relative performance of the sensor between visible and near infrared (NIR).
