Highly efficient transparent organic cells integrating a non-periodic one-dimensional photonic crystal

Abstract

We report on the fabrication of a transparent cell that incorporates light trapping from an electrode that combines a thin metal with an ad hoc photonic crystal, which increases the efficiency while maintaining the transparency.
