Towards Low-cost >15% Efficient Film c-Si Solar Cells: Progress & Challenges

Abstract

We report progress towards >15% c-Si solar cells using a “seed and epitaxy” approach. While 9% solar cells on test substrates prove feasibility, improved seeds and light trapping will be required to achieve >15%.
