Pulsed Laser Ablation in Methyl Methacrylate to Produce Spherical Gold Nanoparticles and Fluorescent Nanodots

Abstract

We report on a novel technique to produce spherical gold nanoparticles together with fluorescent gold nanodots, directly into Methyl Methacrylate by laser ablation synthesis. Presence of nanoparticles and nanodots are confirmed from Transmission Electron Microscopy.
