Amplitude Modulation of QPM Interactions and Tuning Curve Side-lobe Suppression in PPLN Waveguides

Abstract

Several techniques for amplitude modulation and apodization of QPM interactions are proposed and demonstrated. Using these techniques, tuning curve side-lobes are suppressed 13-17 dB compared to that of a uniform grating.
