Photoelectron Angular Distributions from the Single Atom Response to a Relativistic Laser Field

Abstract

Photoelectron angular distributions were measured for Argon atoms at an intensity of 5×1018 W/cm2. It was found that the isotropy increased with intensity and that lower kinetic energy photoelectrons were more isotropic.
