Abstract

We demonstrate the possibility of designing compact ultra-narrow band-pass filters to split four different wavelengths based on the phenomenon of non-proximity resonant tunneling in multi-core photonic band-gap fibers for resonance-sensing and wavelength-selective filtering applications.
