Abstract
Diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (dMRI) is a non-invasive tool for investigating the neural architecture of the brain. It allows for examining the neural tissue fiber bundles in great detail, including estimation of important information such as white matter fiber connectivity and integrity. Due to the sensitivity of dMRI, it can be used in the development of markers for brain disorders. In this work, we present some results on developing a dMRI based biomarker for first-episode schizophrenia.
