Generation and measurement of ultrafast tunable VUV light

Abstract

We report the efficient generation of phase-matched tunable VUV light from 80 to 300nm by wave mixing and harmonic generation in a gas-filled hollow-core fiber. Distinct phasematching processes and cascaded nonlinearities are observed.
