Controlling the Dephasing of Vibrational Wavepackets in Potassium Dimers

Abstract

We have controlled vibrational wavepacket dephasing in potassium dimers using an AOM pulse shaper which is run by a learning algorithm. Several decoherence-resistant excitation subspaces are presented. We include a model for interpreting the wavepacket evolution.
