Peptide secondary structure determination from Three pulse vibrational spectroscopy

Abstract

Coherent nonlinear spectra of amide I modes of four secondary structural motiffs of peptides are predicted for the signals generated at −k1+k2+k3 and k1+k2−k3, Polarization dependent infrared fields applied for oriented samples give unique signatures.
