Abstract

High e-field confinement in slotwaveguide is dependent upon various parameters. A double slot structure where two low index slots of hard material in high index cladding of compressible material is proposed. Power confinement dependency upon distance between slots have been numerically computed, lead to the proposal of optomechanical sensor.
