OCDMA Systems and the Enabling Technologies

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

OCDMA system are reviewed, particularly focusing on asynchronous coherent technology. Key techniques enabling asynchronous coherent OCDMA are discussed, including en/decoding techniques such as ultra-long superstructured FBG and multi-port encoder/decoder; differential-phase-shift-keying (DPSK) modulation, and forward-error-correction and M-ary OCDM will be also introduced aiming at the transmission security enhancement.
