Variable Optical Power Splitter Based on Channel Waveguide

Abstract

A new variable optical power splitter based on channel waveguide proposed in this paper is to use the principle of optical field effect. The import light in the device is divided dynamically and continuously into two output beams by changing the width of the gap between two channel waveguides.
