We experimentally demonstrate a novel compact and integrated terahertz waveguide, which consists of silicon photonic crystals with triangular lattice and a line defect waveguide in photonic crystal (PC) slabs. We also directly measured the propagation loss of the line defect waveguides and obtained a value of 0.99dB/mm.
