Abstract

A Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG)sensor interrogation system using Arrayed Waveguide Gratings(AWGs) demultiplexer is designed and studied theoretically and experimentally. Initial results show that the proposed technology using AWG demultiplexer could offers a low-cost, compact, and high-performance solution for the interrogation of FBG distributed sensors and multisensor arrays
