A Simple Photonic Method of Quasi-High-Order Ultra-Wideband Pulse Generation with Adjustable Shape

Abstract

A novel photonic method for quasi-high-order ultra-wideband (UWB) pulse generation is proposed, analyzed, and experimentally demonstrated. Switchable quasi-fourth-order and quasi-high-order UWB pulses are achieved and the present scheme is simple, reconfigurable, and shape-controllable.
