Influence of SBS on UWB Impulse Radar Pulses and Echoes Distributed Bidirectionally Over Fiber

Abstract

Performance of bidirectional UWB-over-fiber radar system with SBS effect is investigated. It is found that the input power should be at least 3dB below the SBS threshold to reduce the influences of Stokes waves.
