Abstract

We demonstrate a novel nanoscale photonic crystal biosensor. The proposed biosensor consists of H2-type resonator center-coupled to photonic crystal slab waveguide. Transmittance over 98% and extinction ratio exceeds 25 dB are observed, respectively.
