Abstract

A slow electrochemical exfoliation is demonstrated to easily obtain tri-layer graphene nano-sheets for producing passively mode-locked Erbium-doped fiber laser with pulsewidth of 440 fs. The convenient method could replace CVD for fabricating graphene saturable absorbers.
