Impact of the filter alignment on the ultra-long dual-sideband BOTDA with balanced detection

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a 200km fiber-loop sensing BOTDA utilizing balanced detection and bi-directional first-order Raman amplification, and we also discuss the effect of the filter alignment on the dual sideband separation before balanced detection.
