Prototype development of phase-sensitive coherent optical time domain reflectometry for distributed vibration measurement

Abstract

We describe a prototype development of phase-sensitive coherent optical time domain reflectometry (ϕ-COTDR), which is used for distributed vibration measurement. It has a frequency response of 200 Hz with a measurement range of 40 km.
