3D Laser Triangulation Compensation for Non-Uniform Surfaces Reflectivity

Abstract

We propose a new laser profiling technique to scan surfaces with non-uniform reflectivity. A module producing two low speckle laser lines with different chromatic and geometric characteristics using birefringent plates and retarders is presented.
