Hydrothermal Solubility and Crystal Growth of KBe2BO3F2 (KBBF)

Abstract

KBBF was found to have a positive solubility dependence on temperature under hydrothermal conditions explored. The hydrothermal growth of KBBF single crystals up to 15 × 10 × 4 mm3 in size is demonstrated.
