Thermally Induced Light Scattering in Laser Ceramics with Arbitrary Sized Grains

Abstract

Thermally induced beam distortions in laser ceramics with arbitrary grain size were investigated. The average scattered power was defined and compared with the corresponding value obtained in the geometrical optics approximation.
