Dy3+ and Pr3+ doped GaGeSbS(Se) glasses provide good emission efficiencies in the mid IR. By using the 4.5µm emission of a Dy3+ doped GaGeSbS fiber, the CO2 gas concentration measurement is carried out successfully.
