The Response of High Refractive Index coated Long Period Fiber Gratings to Temperature based on Liquid Crystal

Abstract

We study the response of high refractive index coated LPFG to temperature based on liquid crystal. The maximum shift of the resonant wavelength of LPFG is about 8nm when temperature is between 58°C and 60°C.
