Tailoring of Plasmonic Structures for Linear and Nonlinear Optical Application

Abstract

We tailor the optical properties of metal-dielectric nanocomposites by modifying shape and concentration of embedded metal nanoparticles. In particular, we demonstrate novel nonlinear properties of layered material being sensitive to the propagation direction of light.
