Abstract

A technique was developed to suppress the scattering effect in a reconstructed image of an optical CT. We have incorporated the process of the deconvolution using depth-dependent point spread function (PSF) in the reconstruction algorithm. Through a numerical simulation and a phantom experiment, the effect of scattering suppression in the CT imaging was demonstrated and the fundamental feasibility of this technique was verified.
