Phase Contrast Microscopy with Digital Holography

Abstract

We present a new application of digital holography for phase contrast microscopy. This new holographic imaging technique uses a CCD camera as recording device and a numerical method for the hologram reconstruction. Preliminary results with a biological sample are presented.
