Abstract

We propose an all-optical photorefractive switch controlled by the phase difference between two control beams. We. present an optical setup of the switch. And introducing the control method of the distribution of the photorefractive grating, we explain the concept of the switch. Analyzing the variation of beam intensities, we show that the propagating direction of the input signal beam is deflected to either outport by optical control.
