Multiwavelength Laser For Medical Applications and the Implications of Atmospheric Lensing

Abstract

Lasing at two medically important wavelengths, 2.124 µm and 2.700 µm, has been achieved from a single multiply doped laser rod in a simple resonator. Effects of atmospheric absorption and lensing were explored.
