Sub-4-Cycle Laser Pulses from a High-Repetition-Rate, Mid-Infrared OPCPA at 3.4 μm

Abstract

We present an ultra-broadband OPCPA system operating at 3.4 μm delivering 42.5-fs pulses. The average output power is currently 450 mW, corresponding to 9 μJ of pulse energy at a repetition rate of 50 kHz.
