Abstract

We inscribed uniform, mm thick volume Bragg gratings in polymer with parallel NUV fs beams reaching 1st order diffraction efficiency > 93% at 532nm. Linear polarisation (TE) couples strongest and circular polarisation weakest due to polarisation dependent filamentation.
